Sometimes a Bachelor of Science <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridgeport.edu\/news\/is-a-health-science-degree-worth-it\/\">degree in Health Sciences<\/a> can be the right choice. Here at 越南直播 (UB), we offer students majors that will lead to a career in a health profession or that provide a solid foundation for graduate studies.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bridgeport.edu\/academics\/programs\/health-sciences-bs\/\">bachelor\u2019s degree in Health Sciences<\/a> is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide career advancement opportunities to entry-level health professionals as well as to individuals seeking to enroll in graduate professional programs in the health sciences. For example, our HS degree offers concentrations in Community Health, Exercise and Fitness, Nutrition or Pre-Professional studies. No matter which concentration you chose, you will have a strong foundation in healthcare and be prepared for career advancement opportunities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Community Health: Students will complete coursework in health promotion and disease prevention, as well as education in healthcare ethics and insight into healthcare disparities. <em>Community health<\/em> graduates will be prepared for healthcare jobs that require them to interact with and care for diverse patient populations.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise and Fitness: Students will understand the relationship between <em>exercise and wellness<\/em> maintenance and be skilled at developing appropriate fitness programs for diverse populations, including preparation for certification as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Nutrition: Students will understand the principles of <em>human nutrition<\/em> and the relationship to health and wellness using evidence-based strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Pre-Professional: Students will be broadly prepared to enter professional schools and to successfully meet school admissions criteria in the fields of physician assistant (PA), physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and medicine (MD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The faculty of UB\u2019s Health Sciences (HSci) program embrace students with different backgrounds and interests. We are committed to helping you achieve your educational and career goals. His specialty area is microbiology with a concentration in infectious diseases, parasitology, and immunology.
