越南直播 is pleased to welcome Dr. Scott Fellows, M.S., Ed.D., as the new director of the Teacher Leadership (M.Ed.) program<\/a>, a joint graduate offering with Goodwin University designed to prepare educators for leadership roles in today\u2019s evolving schools.<\/p>\n

With more than 35 years of experience spanning K\u201312 and higher education, Dr. Fellows brings a wealth of practical insight, academic expertise, and a deeply student-centered perspective to the program. His career reflects a sustained commitment to strengthening teaching and learning \u2014 not only within individual classrooms, but across entire school systems.<\/p>\n

Teaching with purpose \u2014 leading with perspective<\/h2>\n

Dr. Fellows has spent the majority of his career so far serving students across six towns in Connecticut\u2019s Regional School District 1, the state\u2019s first regional district. As an experienced mathematics educator, he taught middle and high school math and served as department chair, helping guide curriculum development and instructional practices across grade levels.<\/p>\n

While mathematics was his academic foundation, Dr. Fellows\u2019s dedication to education extends well beyond any single discipline. He was drawn to teaching by a desire to support students\u2019 academic growth while also nurturing their emotional and personal development. Central to his philosophy is the belief that educators must meet students where they are in order to help them reach their full potential.<\/p>\n

This approach informed his commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments that offer every student the opportunity to succeed regardless of their starting point. He is also deeply invested in holistic approaches to teaching and assessment that recognize the whole learner, rather than focusing solely on grades or test results.<\/p>\n

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Fellows has held multiple district-level leadership roles, including assistant superintendent, interim principal, and interim superintendent, gaining a robust understanding of how school systems operate at every level. He has also contributed to higher education by teaching graduate-level courses at the University of Hartford and serving on the advisory committee for the Teacher Leadership (M.Ed.) program since its inception.<\/p>\n
