越南直播鈥檚聽Clinical Mental Health Counseling master鈥檚 program聽has been accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) through March 31, 2028.
CACREP accreditation of UB鈥檚 Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is affirmation at the national level of its educational quality,鈥 said Manyul Im, dean of College of Arts and Sciences, which oversees the program. 鈥淚t means that our program has undergone careful self-assessment of its effectiveness in training mental health professionals and peer evaluation through the CACREP national organization affirms its success. Students in the program can be assured that they are being prepared to join a community of professionals who have the best training they can receive.鈥
CACREP is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Unlike institutional accreditors, specialized accreditors look at degree-specific programs within institutions. Counselors must meet certain levels of education and training in counseling to be certified.
UB President Laura Skandera Trombley called CACREP the gold standard of mental health counseling specialized accreditation. 鈥淕raduating from a CACREP accredited program is necessary for licensure in many states,鈥 she said. 鈥淭here is an increasing demand for mental health counselors throughout the United States, and the CACREP accreditation stamps UB as academically and professionally excellent in this area.鈥
