Additionally, Nursing classes are offered 2-3 evenings per week, and clinicals include day, evening, and weekend options, allowing you to earn your degree in a way that works best for you. At UB, you can earn your Nursing degree in as few as 20 months part time.** Once you complete your coursework, you will need to pass the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to become a licensed RN. During your time in the RN program, you’ll work in UB’s Skills and Simulation Center and clinical settings throughout the greater Bridgeport area. You’ll explore your identity as a nurse, learning about the critical role nurses play in patients’ healthcare plans and creating a culture of safety. These hands-on experiences will provide you with opportunities to practice your nursing skills, incorporating safe and appropriate use of the nursing process and patient care technology.
